Delete JavaWebStart cache

1. Open Java Control Panel

using Windows:

1. Open the system settings.
2. Open the Java Control Panel by clicking the Java-icon.
3. Choose the tab General.

using Linux:

1. Open a console or press Alt-F2.
2. Enter "javaws -viewer" and press Enter. The Java Cache Viewer window opens.
3. Close the  Java Cache Viewer. The Java Control Panel appears:

2. Remove the temporary file

1. Press the button Preferences in the  Java Control Panel. Das Fenster Preferences for temporary files opens.
2. Klick the button Delete files....
3. Check all filetypes and approve the deletion..

The next time you start any JavaWebStart application it will redownload all files completely. If you still have the feeling, that you computer is not starting the most recent version, you should try to clear the cache of you webbrowser.
