Java Installation

The application Geopublisher and AtlasStyler SLD editor require you to have at least version 1.6.0_14 of the Sun Java Runtime Environments (JRE) installed.
 
Ofline-atlases created with Geopublisher can use an internal Java and therefor do not require a preinstalled Java on the user's computer. The Online-atlases created with Geopublisher require the user's browser to have a Java-Plugin version 1.6.0_14 or newer installed. When starting the atlas the version of the Java Plugin is automatically checked and the user is redirected to Sun Java installation page if needed.
